It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Adolf Valdez of Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Joey Lucero; and his siblings, Eileen Herrera, Jean Maestas and Billy Valdez. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Valdez; his children, Kay Noble (Dan), Karen Valdez (Robert Postovit), Rebecca Becker (Mike), Melissa Feather (Rich), Mick Lucero and Edward Lucero (Kay Phan); and his brother Jim Valdez (Laverne). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
