It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Valdez of Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eileen Herrera, Jean Maestas and Richard Valdez. He is survived by: his significant other Tillie Theresa Koury Valdez; his children, Joanna Laffin (Carl), Deanna Eppolito (Tony) of Aurora, CO, Audrey Moen (Craig) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Rick Valdez and John Valdez of Alamosa, CO; and his brother Jimmy Valdez Alamosa (Laverne). He is also survived by Six Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grand Grandchildren.
