She is survived by: her pet Fea; her niece Mariah; her husband Christopher Montoya of Alamosa, CO; her son James Maes of Alamosa, CO; her grandchildren, Shylea Huckins, Jeremy Maes, Patrick Huckins and Nathaniel Maes; and her siblings, Amy Flores of Pueblo, CO, Theresa Flores of Albuquerque, NM, Debbie Florez (Orlando Archuleta) of Albuquerque, NM, Nancy Gonzalez (Earl) of Blanca, CO and Dickie Florez (Sue) of Georgia. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
