It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Martinez of Alamosa, Colorado, born in Saguache, Colorado, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Martinez and Elvira Martinez (Mondragon); his daughters, Theresa Martinez and Debra Martinez; and his sisters, Sara Maez and Freda Martinez.

He is survived by: his wife Celia Garcia; his sons, Kenny Martinez (Roberta) and Dennis Martinez (June); his grandchildren, Danell Martinez (Frank), A. J. Martinez (Lynae), Anna Lovato (Paul), Angela Martinez (Sergio), Brenda Guerra (Robert) and Michael Martinez (Shelly); his great grandchildren, Adrina, Domonique, Frankie Rose, Madison, Ajay, Sofia, Darrian, Robert Jr., Daniel, Noah and Eva; and his siblings, William Martinez (Lala) and Helen Haymen (Robert).
