He was predeceased by: his parents, Sohan Singh and Tej Kaur Cheema; his brother Jarnail "Juddi" Singh Cheema; his grandparents, Ujager Singh, Karter Kaur Cheema, Phakir Singh and Eser Kaur Sandhu; and his great-granduncle Lakhan Singh Cheema.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandeep Kaur Jaspal and Mandeep Kaur Biring; his wife Ranjit Kaur Cheema; his sons-in-law, Jagdip Singh Jaspal and Amarjot Singh Biring; his son Harpreet "Harry" Singh Cheema; his daughter-in-law Amanjyot Kaur Cheema; his son Sanpreet "Sunny" Singh Cheema; his daughter-in-law Lovepreet Kaur Cheema; his grandchildren, Neerij Singh Jaspal, Harleen Kaur Biring, Jashan Singh Biring, Gurshaan Singh Cheema and Simran Kaur Cheema; his niece Navdeep 'Navi Kaur Cheema; his nephew Pinderdeep Singh Cheema; his sister-in-law Gurbax Kaur Cheema; and his sisters, Balbir "Pero" Kaur Johal, Shaminder "Sherry" Kaur Uppal and Palo "Gago" Kaur Phagura. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
