He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Volb and Anna Volb; his stepmother Betty Volb; his nephew Danny Vargas; and his cousins, Adam and Ida Merkle.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Angove of Yuba City, CA; his children, Adam Volb of Yuba City, CA and Andrea Angove-Volb of Brooklyn, NY; and his sister Dory Ertz (Don) of Lodi, CA.
