With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Rae (Redhair) Coats (Yuba City, California), born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on January 22, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Peter Redhair and Rosemary Ballard Redhair; her brother Gregory; her husbands, Wallace Coats and Robert Coats; her daughter Laura Jane Coats; her son-in-law Paul Kashuba; and her grandchildren, Bernard Heian, Molly Ward and Danielle Rangell.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ward (Gordon), Mary Kashuba and Jim Coats; and her stepchildren, Betty Heian, Robin Walther (Jim), Robert Coats, Jr. (Shari), Frank Coats (Channon) and Tom Coats (Renate). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of friends and extended family.
Donations to the Sutter County Museum, Sutter Buttes Regional Land Trust, or Kingsley Art Club are welcome.
