She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sidney Vanderpool and Leona Vanderpool; her husband Hugh "Ken" Horner; her children, Kay Filler (Les) of Emerald Hills, Ken Horner (Anne) of Watsonville and Doug Horner of Watsonville; her grandchildren, Erik Horner (Kristen) of Ann Arbor, MI and Katie Hogan (Brendan) of San Jose; her great grandchildren, Mason, Valen, Amelia Horner, Royce and Arabella Hogan; and her sister-in-law Joyce Baker of Sunset Beach. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Any memorial contributions can be directed to causes important to Jean: children, literacy, animals, the Watsonville community, and her church.
