She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Porfirio Fernandez and Concepcion Magaña; her husband Salvador Ortiz; and her children, Jildardo, Angelita, Maria of Jesus, Salvador, Francisco, Bertha and Jose. She was also cherished by 38 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 10 great great-granchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, no public services will be held.
