With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Johnston (Walnut Creek, California), born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on July 16, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Breuner Johnston; his children, Bill Johnston (Jenny), Beth Handel (Joe) and Joel Johnston (Joanie); his former wife Mary Harrington Johnston; and his pet Rosy. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
