He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebb Lee Qualls and Artha Qualls (Rains); his wife Lera Lee Freeman; and his siblings, Lura Qualls, Dossie Qualls, Lossie Qualls and Ebb Lee Qualls.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Qualls (Margaret), Gay Carter (Gary), Randal Qualls (Anna) and Jimmy Qualls (Xuan); his grandchildren, Christopher Qualls (Mariah Mitman), Ian Qualls, Carrie Greek (Kasey), Matthew Carter (Amanda), William Andrew Qualls (Meghan), Laura Qualls (Randy Hagmann), Amy Lanouette (Jason) and Katelyn Alvarado (Genaro); his great grandchildren, Russell Carter, Samuel Carter, Olivia Qualls, Quinlynn Qualls, Kipton Qualls, River Lanouette, Dallas Alvarado and Charley May Alvarado; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Paul and Patsy Freeman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
