She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Sipes and Lavenia Sipes; her husband Ray; her siblings, Myrna Harline, Terry and Glenn Sipes; and her granddaughter Stephanie Tackett.
She is survived by: her children, Keely Brown (Steve) and Brady Shoemate (Kathy); her grandchildren, Michelle Winegar-Brown, Ashley Beumer-Brown, Lauren Shoemate and Nick Shoemate; her great grandchildren, Taelor Winegar, Cameron Beumer and Hunter Tackett; and her caregivers, Annette Vera, Tressa Phillips and Eselda Escala. She is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be sent to the Spirit of Santa Paula, a program that offers services for homeless and hungry people.
