He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis O'Brien and Theresa O'Brien; his siblings, Colleen O'Brien, Barbara Cullen, Art Southard and Donald McGrath; and his children, Jennifer O'Brien and John O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Donna O'Brien; his grandchildren, Kaitey O'Brien-Conner and Hailey Smothers; his great grandchildren, Gaege, Karsyn, Emberleigh and Sage; and his siblings, Patty Robinson, David O'Brien, Catherine O'Brien, Joelle O'Brien, Terry O'Brien, Ceil Humphrey and Neil O'Brien.
