With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Peter Schlienger of Ukiah, California, born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Max Peter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Max Peter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Swiss Schlienger (Max A.) and Luggi M. Schlienger. He is survived by: his wife Joan Miller; and his children, Eric Schlienger, Dana Thelen and Daryl Henzl. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A private memorial is planned; in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to Hospice of Ukiah.
