He was predeceased by: his parents, Warder Dayton and Ruby Dayton; his brother Wallace Dayton; and his sister-in-law June Dayton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Dayton; his children, Kim Dayton (Tracey), Kari Revheim (Glenn), Shari Schapmire (Todd) and Jimmy Dayton Jr. (Marie); his grandchildren, Erik Revheim (Janet), Todd Schapmire Jr. (Noel), Ryan Revheim (Hailey), Tyler Schapmire (Lindsay), Davis Dayton (Niki), Kelsey Dayton (Zeke), Bailee Dayton-Herrera (Peter), Kylie Dayton (Michael), Kamerin Dayton, Keegan Leighty and Dawson Dayton; his great grandchildren, Vance, Gianna, Veronika, Abe, Jack, Nora, Kyler, Valerie, Mila and James; his brother Billy Jack Dayton; his siblings-in-law, Robbie Dayton, Maureen and Tommy Cryder; and his friends, Gary Stroud and Pat Stroud. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
