With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Alfred Weger (Ukiah, California), who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Don Weger (Maranee), Jill Weger, Wendy Weger, Dionne Peterson (Bill), Barrett Smith (Danielle) and Kristen Brock (Laurence); his grandchildren, Matthew Weger (Erin), Jennifer Weger-Barron (Dylan), Kyle Pennington, Kelly Pennington-Moose (Sam), George Peterson (Heather), Marlin Peterson (Julianne), Sam Wells (Rissa), Kolby Brock, Madison Smith and Kennedy Smith; and his great grandchild Lolita Brafford.
He grew and donated pumpkins every fall to the Boys & Girls Clubs. He generously donated to the local senior center and county fairs, and he established a perpetual scholarship fund at Mendocino College.
