He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony M. Alvidrez and Dominga P. Alvidrez. He is survived by: his children, Monica Marie Alvidrez of Sacramento, CA., Larry Anthony Alvidrez and Gabriel Richard Alvidrez; his grandchildren, Gabriel Xavier Alvidrez, Janmarie Alves Topalian and Brynlee Janet Alvidrez; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Alves Alvidrez of Tulare, CA.; and his siblings, Bernadette Torrez, Gilbert, Arthur, Pete and Tony Alvidrez. He is also survived by his children, often coaching their sports teams and teaching his daughters.
