With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roderick E Metz of Sun Valley, California, who passed away on May 9, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Metz and Georgia Metz; his children, William (Bertha) and Maggie; his siblings, Elmer, Georgia Metz, Betty Jane, Lucille, Evelyn and Leo; his wife Rosa (Shatto Lanes); and his grandchildren, Andrea Michelle, William E. and Olyvia Jane. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Thereafter or in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boys Town or Paralyzed Veterans of America charities.
