He is survived by: his wife Rosa Gomez; his children, Rosamaria Gomez, Veronica Herrera (Alfonso), Guadalupe Ruiz (Nicolas), Rafael Gomez Jr. (Alexis) and Jose Gomez (Karen); his grandchildren, Ariana, Gilberto, Anthony, Maribel, Abram, Gabriela, Savannah, Camila, Julian, Julissa, Soraya and Santiago; and his great grandchildren, Adriel, Eliana and Ezekiel.
