He was predeceased by: his former wife Esther; and his siblings, Jane Manning and Fredrick "Bud" Tilton. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Tilton (Jacopi); his children, Lynda Ruth and Gerard "Gerry" Tilton; and his grandchildren, Crystal Ruth and Gerard "Joey" Tilton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
