He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gilliam and Ruby Gilliam; and his siblings, Pat Barnum, Jerry Gilliam and Earlene McMahon.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" House; and his daughters, Tammy (Ray Pulley), Teri (John Gavazza) and Tracy (Steve Brownlee). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
At Doug's request, no services will be held and donations in his memory may be made to a favorite charity.
