He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. and Mathilda; his son Charles "Dave" III; and his brother-in-law Earl Hagerman. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his stepsons, Daryl Phillips (Giselle), Duane Phillips (Janie) and Dean Phillips; his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Angelika), Joshua, Rachelle (John), Laura, Lindsey (Jeffrey), Melissa (Mikal) and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Eve and Nicholas.
