He was loved and cherished by many people including: his stepchildren, Salina Garza and Ramona Garcia; his wife Annette Renteria; his sons, Johnny Renteria Jr and Antonio Renteria; his siblings, Joe Renteria, Pedro Renteria, Lorenzo Renteria, Victor Renteria and Yolanda Renteria; his parents, Jose Renteria and Marcela Reyna; and his brother Manuel Renteria. He was also cherished by 8 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
