He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Marcia Sparling (Michael Coppock), Ed Sparling (Barbara) and Alexandra "Chrissy" Allen (Paul); his grandchildren, Cameron Coppock, Christopher Coppock, Brooks Sparling and Tyler Sparling; his siblings, Jodean Sparling (Saundy) and Janice Jackson (Don); and his sister-in-law Linda Sparling. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
