He was predeceased by: his father Pedro Rangel. He is survived by: his spouse Virginia; his children, Raquel (Javier), Savina (Leo) and Abel Jr. (Vanezza); and his mother Sabina Salazar of Santa Maria. He is also survived by friends and their children.
