She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward FitzSimmons and Elizabeth FitzSimmons; her grandparents, Carl O. Sauer and Lorena Sauer; her sister Ellen; her brother-in-law Klaus Porzig; and her nieces, Annie, Libby and Molly. She was also cherished by friends and family.
