She was predeceased by: her grandmother Inez Castro; her father Joe Pinheiro Rose; her husband Bill Castro; her son Alan Castro; and her siblings, Richard Rose, Joe Rose, Marian Silveira and Hilda Farnsworth.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanette; her son-in-law Dave Caughey of Redding; her daughter Julie Castro-Orozco; her son-in-law José Luis Orozco of Soquel; and her grandsons, Adam Caughey and Pablo Orozco-Castro.
A kind act of charity can be made in her memory to either the Alzheimer's Association or mass offerings through St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Capitola, CA.
