He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Owen and Donald Owen; his pets, Roane, Jigs, Smokey and Cocker Spaniels; his rescued Love Birds; his wife Ruth Owen; his siblings, Sharon Agorastos, Megan Fuller (Mike), Jim Owen (Pilar) and Don Owen; and his nieces and nephews, Terri Owen, Kelli Owen, Beth Crawford, Jessica Owen, Jennifer Starbird, Brian Owen, Kevin Owen, Cameron Fuller, Robert Agorastos, Joe Lantry and Larry Agorastos. He was also cherished by eight grand nieces, seven grand nephews, four great grandnieces and a great grandnephew.
