With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Rose Filson of Santa Cruz, California, born in North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on September 5, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Max; her parents, Alfred Hummel and Bertha Hummel; her siblings, Robert Hummel, Marie Fry and Cecilia Hummel; and her sons, Timothy and Vincent.
She is survived by: her sister Clare Hummel; and her children, Elizabeth Filson, Sally Ussery, Charles, Mark, Paul, Patrick, Dorothy and Max. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
