David Castillo Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2023, at the age of 39, David Castillo of Santa Cruz, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Phillip Scott Castillo. He is survived by: his mother Maryanne Elward (Dave Gardner); his brothers, Nick Castillo (Rachel) and Tom Castillo (Lori); his stepsiblings, Nicole Gardner, Dave Gardner Jr. and Emily Gardner; his grandmother Nancy Schmitt; his nephews, Logan, Austin, Noah and Nolan; his niece Penelope; his aunt Kathleen Smith (Steve); his uncle Dave Elward (Vicky); and his girlfriend Leah Van Emmerik. He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and loving extended family.
