He was predeceased by: his friend Bob Salter (Santa Cruz); his parents, Frederick Salter and Fern Rianda Salter; his close friend Cindy Mason; his brother Gary Salter; his nephew Donald Salter; and his niece Araya Nelson.

He is survived by: his niece Bonnie Salter; his family, Bob and Harley Davidson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kelly, Matthew Niven, Carson, Kyland, Aidan, Ruby Krietz, Chloe, Ava, Brodie and Dylan Mason.

A kind act of charity can be made in his memory to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter.
