It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Vernon Eggleston of San Rafael, California, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Eggleston and Libby Eggleston; his sister Janet Foshee; and his niece Stephanie Carol Foshee. He is survived by: his siblings, Phyllis Feaster (Gary) of Benton, LA, Carol Cahill (Bruce) of Midwest City, OK and Vaughn Eggleston (Shanna) of Moss Bluff, LA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Two notably special to him were the Winsor McKay Award (Annie Award) that represented a lifetime achievement for his career contributions to animation and an Oscar for his short film, For the Birds.
