He is survived by: his uncle Steve; his wife Argie Tripodes (Argyro); his children, Nicholas Vassilakis (Debra Hotaling), Mary Vassilakis and Stella Harbilas (Bill); and his grandchildren, Georgia, James and Justin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, grand nieces, and grand nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Katherine Greek Language School at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
