It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Arnold Mercado of Redlands, California, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Jess B Mercado. He is survived by: his wife Lori Piercey; his mother Sarah Montes Mercado; his siblings, Jess Mercado, Hank Mercado, Gary Mercado and Roberta Mercado Parkinson; his children, Jeff Burgeson, Emily Tejeda, Mia Mercado and Lauren Simpson; his grandchildren, Amanda, Adrian, Andrew, Eva, Robert, Trent, Trevor and Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Bradley and Natalie.

The family asks that you please consider donating to Ben's airborne chapter in lieu of flowers, in his name.
