He is survived by: his wife Lupe Hernandez; his children, Mercy Hernandez Jr., Christina "Tina" Gonzales and Lisa Herrera; and his brothers, Ray Hernandez and Jess Hernandez. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and his many wonderful nieces and nephews.
