With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl J. Thigpen Sr. (Poway, California), born in Waskom, Texas, who passed away on September 1, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Richard Thigpen; and his son-in-law Richard Brennen. He is survived by: his wife Alma Thigpen of Poway, CA; his children, Sue Brennen of Carlsbad, Earl Thigpen Jr. (Desirae) of Murietta and Jill Vincent (Randy) of Ramona; his sisters, Kathleen Boyd of Shreveport, LA and JoAnn Keller of Shreveport, LA; his grandchildren, Heather Frickman (Michael), Noah Rawls (Kim), Remy Thigpen, Nick Vincent (Jaclyn) and Christopher Vincent (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Reese, Roan, Paige, Tatum, Jack, Carrie, Carson and Hazel. He is also survived by husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Earl's memory to Elizabeth Hospice.
