He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Martinez and Eufrosina Martinez; his wife Maria Luisa Martinez; his siblings, Angel, Ofelia, Socorro and Carmen; his daughter Elizabeth "Lisa" Martinez; and his granddaughter Cynthia Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Benavides (Alvaro), Augustine Martinez (Alana) and Richard Martinez (Donna); and his grandchildren, Ericka Olivarez (Christopher), Francisca Perez, Tanya Estes, Vennessa Martinez, Julie Davidson (Scott), William Palmer, Marcus Benavides, Megan Carbajal (Jared) and Augustine Martinez, Jr.. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
