Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gene Slayton (Patterson, California), born in Dyess, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 85, on December 9, 2018. He was predeceased by: his wife Irmal "Anne" Slayton; and his son Michael Slayton. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Almansa of Modesto, Vickie Flores (Elias) of Arizona and Karen Slayton-Mayfield (David) of Colorado; and his siblings, LeRoy Dennis of Alabama and Gloria Denis of Atwater. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
