Tony Peter Ayres Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tony Peter Ayres of Pacific Grove, California, who passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Ayres; and his son Ramon. He is survived by: his daughters, Rosann (Bill Lopes) and Laurie (Roger Snaith); his stepgrandson Dr. Ryan Snaith (Verity); and his great grandchildren, Henry Snaith and Vivian Snaith.

Our Dad lived through the Great Depression, two world wars, space flight, the birth of the Internet, 9-11, and more recently the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Community Foundation generates revenues perpetually for many different Monterey Bay area organizations. Memorial donations may be made to the foundation, or to the donor's choice, in lieu of flowers.
