He was predeceased by: his wife Agapita Marroquin; his son Guadalupe Marroquin; and his siblings, Guadalupe Marroquin, Macaria, Rebecca and Leonor.
He is survived by: his children, Elsa Puentes (Joe), Gilbert Marroquin Jr. (Nina) and Gustavo Marroquin (Anna); his daughter-in-law Maricruz Marroquin; and his sisters, Teodosa Marroquin, Sinaida Gonzalez and Maria Veda Alvarado. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
