He was predeceased by: his siblings, Josephine, Cesa, Refugio Murguia, Nicasio Porras and Steve Porras.
He is survived by: his parents, Alejandra Porras (Ramirez) and Felix Porras; his wife Esther; his children, Marcie Porras (Brown), Felix, John, Porras Tedrick (Marta), Mary Galvan (Edgar), Rob, Manuela, Manny, Marston (Forrest), Vangie Porras, Estel Porras (Kathy), Frances Porras Lingemann (Bo), Julie Gregory (Mark) and Josie Porras Corporon (Scott); his nephew Manuel; and his sisters, Cecilia Torres and Mary Zaragosa. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren (Justin, Sean, Simon, and Isaac Brown; James Marston; Anthony and Alex Galvan; Micha McLaughlin, Amanda Gregory, Natalie McLaughlin, and Markus Gregory; and Nicole Porras Corporon), their spouses, 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peg Taylor Center, the Caregiver Resource Center at Passages, Orland Community Scholarship Fund, or in care of F.D. Sweet & Son Mortuary.
