He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Simmons and Emily Simmons; his wife Mary "Ruby" Medina; his children, Michael Simons and Michele Fumasi (Dean) of Orland; his grandchildren, Fallon of Tempe Arizona, Briley of Orland and Theron Fumasi of Orland; and his siblings, Josie Nordel of Orland and Frank Simmons of Forest Ranch. He was also cherished by several niece, nephews and cousins.
