He was predeceased by: his wife Berdell Liermann; his parents, Mabel Rowell (Charles Foster Rowell) and William Rowell (Billy); and his sisters, Dorothy Virgin and Margaret Wright.

He is survived by: his daughters, Libby Faust (Warren) of Weatherly, PA, Lori Raymond of Las Vegas, NV and Lynda Ferguson of Orange, CA; his grandson Brad Jordan (Traci); his great grandchildren, Willow (Ryan Jordan) of Yakima, WA, Lilo and Carly of Olympia, WA; and his brother Albert Rowell of Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
