He was predeceased by: his former wife Donna Frances Reilley of William's Church; his sons, Michael and Christopher; and his stepdaughter Lee Ann Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Norma Koob; and his children, Kimberly Crews (Glen) and Matt Koob (Laura). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
