It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hibbs of Novato, California, born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Shaw and Zella Shaw; her husband Robert Hibbs; and her siblings, Robert Shaw and Catherine Shaw.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Zellachild; her children, Richard Urquhart, Pat Urquhart, Michael Urquhart and Debi George; and her stepson Ross Hibbs. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She also volunteered in several American Cancer Society Shops—most recently in Novato, only stopping when the pandemic started.
