She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gorman Lutz and Maxine Lutz (Kelley); her siblings, Mary Jones (Lutz), Susie, Steven and David Lutz; and her niece Kelley Jones.

She is survived by: her sons, Todd Richard Winegar (Melissa) and Andrew John Winegar (Erin Katz); her grandchildren, Rheannon, Kaiden Winegar and Ric Morrison; her nephew Russell Jones (Lora); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ivee and Jace; her cousin Hope DuBois (Rhodabarger); and her daughters, Christine Doskey (DuBois) and Caroline DuBois.

“My name is Richard Kelly, I’m 91 and live in Indiana. I was related to Joan through distant relatives. My GGG great grandfather Madison Kelly was a twin brother to Jefferson Kelly, Joan’s GGG grandfather. Joan was a avidly interested in ancestral history and helped me trace my Kelly ancestors. She was also very interested in maintaining grave sites. She came to Indiana just a few years ago searching graveyards for ancestors and she was able to meet up with my cousin Phillip Kelly, great lady”
