He is survived by: his wife Susan Aldous Strachan; his siblings, Don Strachan (Jean), Gary Strachan (Terry), Robert Strachan (Helen Weld), Di Strachan (Bob Hammond) and Karen Aldous; and also Charles Aldous (Alice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
