He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Teixeira and Olivia Teixeira; his children, Richard Teixeira (Magda) and Lucy Rodrigues (Manuel); his grandchildren, Kayla, Jasper, Niccolas Teixeira, Spencer and Phoebe Rodrigues; his siblings-in-law, Celeste Luis, Albano and Dennis Bettencourt; and his wife Mercedes. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
