He is survived by: his wife Kazuko Takei; his children, Eddie Takei and Susan Green (Ashley); his grandchildren, Zachary and Megumi; and his siblings, Toshiro Takei (Fumie) of Japan, Toshihisa Takei (Emiko) and Hisako Yamane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
