She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Takeshi Shishima; her daughter-in-law Kathy Nogawa Shishima; and her siblings, Harriet Shinsato, Barbara Zakabi, Florence Watanabe and Lawrence Zakabi.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Shishima (Charlene Takara), Stacy Shishima (Randy Mariano), Lynne Gerber and Ronnie Shishima; her grandchildren, Chase and Kylie; her children, Celina, Simone, Lauren, Christian, Kendall, Skye, Alex and Terry; her siblings, Douglas, James Zakabi (Miyo) and Dorothy Gage (Chet); and her siblings-in-law, Bill Shishima (Emi), Keiko Hamagiwa, Michiko Iwata (Dave) and Paul Shishima (Kay). She is also survived by many in-laws nieces, nephews and other relatives.
